ENGLISH:  This week’s focus is on conjunctions, interjections, and commas. Personal narrative final copies will also be  finished in class.

NOTE: THERE ARE FEWER HOMEWORK ASSIGNMENTS THIS WEEK DUE TO GRADE DEADLINES ASSOCIATED WITH THE QUARTER ENDING ON FRIDAY.

HOMEWORK: MONDAY:  Test tomorrow on conjunctions and interjections.

THURSDAY: Comma test tomorrow.

READING: This week, we will reading two selections: “Too Soon a Woman” and “Mrs. Flowers”. We will continue our study of vocabulary and literary elements.

HOMEWORK:  MONDAY: Quiz tomorrow on selection “Harriet Tubman”.
